Sidley Represents Certares on Single-Asset Continuation Fund of Guardian Alarm

Sidley has advised Certares, a leading investment firm focused on travel, tourism, hospitality, and business and consumer services, on its closing of a single-asset continuation fund to extend its partnership with Guardian Alarm (Guardian).

The new investor group was led by funds managed by New 2ND Capital and provided Guardian's existing shareholders with an option to receive liquidity while also providing additional committed capital to support Guardian's acquisition strategy and continued growth. Guardian is a provider of security, fire, access control, and automation solutions.

The multi-jurisdictional Sidley team was led by partners Oren Gertner (Investment Funds) and Noam Waltuch (Tax) and supported by senior managing associate Andy Lau (Tax) and managing associate Will Barrott (Investment Funds).
