Biography

LISA HOLZMAN focuses her practice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, as well as corporate governance and securities compliance matters.

Lisa earned her J.D., cum laude, from Northwestern University’s Pritzker School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Journal of Law and Social Policy and served as the Director of Professional Development of the Women’s Leadership Coalition. Lisa received her B.S.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis with majors in accounting and finance.

Prior to attending law school, Lisa worked as an accountant at a Big Four accounting firm and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Representative Matters

Lisa’s representative matters include:

  • Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in its US$13.45 billion acquisition of AssuredPartners.
  • Prospect Partners and its portfolio company Wedgewood Hospitality Group, Inc., a wedding services provider, in its acquisition by TJC, L.P.
  • Jervois Global Limited in its reorganization and sale to certain creditors following a bankruptcy filing.
  • Lovell Minnick Partners in its growth investment in Cohen & Company, a nationally recognized assurance, tax and business advisory firm.
  • RoundTable Healthcare Partners in the sale of its portfolio company, TIDI Products, LLC, to TJC, L.P.
  • Thompson Street Capital Partners on multiple transactions, including its portfolio company BCM One’s acquisition of Pure IP, a global provider of cloud-based voice services via Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and Zoom.

Community Involvement

Pro Bono

Lisa maintains an active pro bono practice as showcased through her work with Lawyers for the Creative Arts and the Illinois Prison Project.
