
Biography
MAX LUPIN is an associate in the Chicago office and practices in the Global Finance group.
Max graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where he served as co-editor-in-chief of the Harvard Law and Policy Review and as a teaching assistant for Civil Procedure. Max received his B.A. in biological sciences from the University of Chicago.
Prior to joining Sidley, Max worked as a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow at the Chicago Appleseed Center for Fair Courts. Between undergraduate and law school, Max worked as a paralegal at a small litigation firm in Chicago.

Max’s representative matters include:
- Representation of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc. (NYSE: TDS) in the US$4.4 billion sale of United States Cellular Corporation’s (NYSE: USM) wireless operations and select spectrum assets to T-Mobile US, Inc. (NASDAQ: TMUS), including a combination of cash and up to approximately US$2 billion of assumed debt.
