Biography
JEREMY TRINDER represents clients across the full spectrum of complex real estate investment and financing transactions in the UK and across Europe.
With more than 30 years of experience, he offers deep knowledge of lending across the capital stack, advising private equity sponsors, financial institutions, and corporate borrowers on:
- Commercial mortgage loans, including origination and restructuring of senior, mezzanine, and holdco financings;
- Loan-on-loan, repo, and loan warehousing transactions;
- Mortgage-backed securities;
- Commercial mortgage debt acquisitions and syndication;
- Sale and leaseback, ground rent, and opco/propco transactions; and
- Distressed debt acquisitions/dispositions and NPL and special situations financings.

- A U.S. investment bank in relation to €350 million senior/mezzanine loans to a JV of a U.S. private equity fund and European operating partner in relation to the development of a marquee data centre project in Portugal.
- A joint venture between two private equity funds in relation to a loan to finance the €422 million acquisition of a German SFR portfolio.
- The joint venture of U.S. and European real estate private equity funds on the £500 million financing of the acquisition of a European hospitality business.
- A U.S. investment bank in relation to a mortgage loan to PIMCO in relation to the acquisition of cold storage businesses in the UK and Ireland.
- A U.S. investment bank in relation to a mortgage loan to EQT Exeter in relation to the acquisition of a warehouse in Germany.
- A U.S. investment bank in relation to a repurchase transaction with PGIM secured on European mortgage loans.
- A major U.S. hotels group in relation to a mezzanine loan to finance the acquisition of a hotel in central London.
- A joint venture between a U.S. real estate private equity fund and European operating partner in respect of a loan to finance the acquisition of a UK healthcare group.

- Middle East Sovereign Wealth in the US$1.5 billion refinancing of a property portfolio, including luxury hotels in London, Rome, and Beverley Hills, and a luxury condo development in New York.
