Sidley Takes Home Two Major Accolades at the 2023 Legal Business Awards

Sidley has won the “Restructuring Team of the Year” award at the 2023 Legal Business Awards. The firm was also honored as “Highly Commended” in the Private Equity Team of the Year category. The prestigious Legal Business Awards celebrates the very best in the legal profession in the UK.

The Restructuring Team of the Year award recognizes the London Restructuring team’s role, led by Jifree Cader and Mark Knight, on many of the leading and most innovative matters in the global market, most notably in Europe and Asia. The firm’s representation of China Fortune Land Development Co., Ltd. in the restructuring of its US$4.96 billion offshore debt by way of English scheme of arrangement was particularly noted.
