Sidley Advises Fortitude Re in Two Reinsurance Transactions With Leading Japanese Insurers

Sidley advised Fortitude Re, Bermuda’s largest multi-line reinsurer, in two separate reinsurance transactions between its subsidiary Fortitude International Reinsurance Limited and leading Japanese life insurance companies.

Both block reinsurance deals are comprised of whole life insurance policies.

The Sidley team was led by Jon Kelly (Insurance), and included John Grothaus, Katerina Glor (both Insurance), and Andy Shoyer (Global Arbitration, Trade and Advocacy).
