Sidley Represents Barings in Launch of Pinion Insurance and US$180 Million Preferred Equity Investment

Sidley is representing Barings LLC, a leading global asset manager, in the launch of Pinion Insurance and its preferred equity commitment of up to US$180 million. Pinion, a specialty insurance carrier, will provide insurance capacity for Managing General Agents in the United States, UK, and Europe and will offer insight into underwriting performance and exposure through proprietary technology.

The cross-border Sidley team is being led by Ryan Scofield (M&A and Private Equity) and Stephanie Dobecki and John White (Insurance), and includes Jonathon Hamill, J.D.
