Sidley Represents PT J Resources Nusantara in Its Sale of PT Arafura Surya Alam for US$540 Million

Sidley is representing PT J Resources Nusantara in relation to its sale of PT Arafura Surya Alam, a gold mining company incorporated in Indonesia, to PT Danusa Tambang Nusantara, a subsidiary of PT United Tractor Tbk and a member of the Astra group, Indonesia, for a total enterprise value of US$540 million. The conditional sale and purchase agreement in relation to the transaction was signed on September 12, 2025.

PT J Resources Nusantara is a subsidiary of PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk. (J Resources), a public company listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and engaged in gold mining in Indonesia.

The Sidley team is being led by Charlie Wilson and includes Eldon Chan and Ryan Lim (all M&A and Private Equity).
