MICHELE NUDELMAN is an associate in the Global Finance group in the New York office.
Her practice encompasses leveraged and investment-grade acquisition financings, asset-based financings, real estate financings, and general corporate governance matters in a wide variety of industries. She also has experience with debtor-in-possession financings, intercreditor issues and transactions involving multiple debt tranches and multiple lien priorities.
Michele advises developers, financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies on a variety of energy transactions including the negotiation of master agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and credit support documents. She has experience with derivative transactions, renewable energy credits and carbon credit finance and the regulatory landscape for implementation of offshore wind projects in the United States. Michele has also extensively researched issues presented by contracts using blockchain technology.
Prior to joining Sidley, Michele worked at a another international law firm where she represented lenders, agents, financial institutions, initial purchasers, underwriters and corporations with a focus on lending, capital markets and derivative transactions. She was also a corporate associate in the New York office of an Am Law 100 law firm. Additionally, she spent more than a year on a legal secondment to a major financial institution serving as in-house counsel to its fixed income desk in New York and its debt capital markets desk in London. She has also worked on capital markets and liability management transactions, including high yield and investment-grade bond offerings, initial public and secondary equity offerings, commercial paper programs, medium-term note programs, bridge financing commitments, exchange offers, tender offers and consent solicitations.
Michele was the Business Track Winner in the 2007 Harvard Business School Business Plan Contest.
