ABDULLAH SHAH advises on a broad range of private equity and corporate transactions, including private M&A transactions, equity investments, consortium arrangements, co-investments, and joint ventures, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Abdullah trained and qualified as a solicitor in Sidley’s office in London, where he also gained experience in the firm’s Restructuring, Global Finance, and Capital Markets practices.

Abdullah’s recent experience includes advising:

• Warren Equity Partners on its acquisition of Obsequio Group, a UK headquartered infrastructure services business, focussed on fire safety, water hygiene, security, asbestos, energy and environmental compliance services.
• Infrabridge and Achieve together on the strategic acquisition by Achieve together of the adult residential services business from Outcomes First Group.
• A leading infrastructure fund in its acquisition of Melita, a fully converged digital infrastructure owner and operator delivering broadband, mobile connectivity and data centre solutions across Malta.
• Pictet Alternative Advisors in its Acquisition of Pareto FM.

Abdullah is also involved in a wide range of pro bono work, including representing claimants in their challenges to Personal Independence Payment decisions.
