Tom Ward, the only former CFPB Enforcement Director in private practice and whose tenure at the CFPB bridged the Trump and Biden Administrations, provides his thoughts on what to expect from this most aggressive – and controversial – of federal financial regulators in the coming four years. Tom will address how the incoming Trump Administration is likely to approach enforcement, supervision, and regulation as well as what regulations and practices may carry over from the Biden to Trump Administrations.
