Sidley Partners Kenneth Polite and Lisa Miller to Speak at the 7th White Collar Crime Workshop in Washington, D.C.

Sidley is pleased to announce that White Collar Partners Kenneth Polite and Lisa H. Miller will participate as panelists at the 7^th White Collar Crime Workship in Washington, D.C., hosted by Shinshu University and the Embassy of Japan.

The workshop is aimed at providing a global platform to discuss corporate governance and compliance-related issues faced by companies worldwide. Topics of interest to both practitioners and academics in the US, UK, Japan and other countries will be covered, including: global enforcement trends in relation to corporate crimes; the governance of advanced technology such as artificial intelligence (“AI”); evaluation of effectiveness of corporate compliance programs, labor law, data privacy, and internal investigations

Kenneth (panelist) and Lisa (moderator) will lead a roundtable discussion titled, “Do we need Compliance Defense?” on Friday October 24 at 2:55 p.m. ET. They will be joined by other panelists including
