Private Equity Business Overcomes Legal Challenges of Brexit
December 7, 2024
January 31, 2025 marks the fifth anniversary of Brexit. Fears of severe disruption and a corresponding decline in cross-border M&A and private equity business have not materialized. On the contrary, our advisory practice shows that transactions with links to the UK and Germany (and/or other EU member states) are still being carried out to a considerable extent. London, therefore, remains a central location for the acquisition of mandates by German legal advisors. Particularly in the mid-cap sector, which is currently gaining in importance for private equity investors, Munich is also playing an increasingly central role.
