Lisa Gilford Honored With Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’ Maynard Toll Award for Distinguished Public Service

Lisa Gilford, a partner in Sidley’s Los Angeles office, has been selected to receive the “Maynard Toll Award for Distinguished Public Service” from the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA), recognizing her outstanding contributions to pro bono advocacy and her longstanding commitment to advancing access to justice.

Beyond her legal practice, Lisa has demonstrated a dedication to underserved communities through her involvement with nonprofit and community organizations, including the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund. Her contributions reflect LAFLA’s mission to provide free legal assistance to individuals and families facing economic hardship throughout Los Angeles County.

Lisa will be honored at LAFLA’s 28th Annual Access to Justice Gala on October 29, 2026, at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California.
