Sidley represented Matt Hulsizer and Jenny Just, co-founders and managing partners of PEAK6 Investments LLC, in their investment in Austin FC, one of Major League Soccer’s fastest-growing franchises. As part of the transaction, Hulsizer will join the club’s leadership as Alternate Governor, reinforcing the growing role of experienced investors in shaping the next era of global sports.
Just and Hulsizer bring a proven track record in sports ownership, having held stakes in AFC Bournemouth, Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., and Dundalk F.C., with achievements that include English Premier League promotions and UEFA Europa League milestones.
