Sidley Represents Wellington Management in €1.2 Billion Trade Republic Secondary Transaction

Sidley is representing Wellington Management in connection with its investment in Trade Republic, a European retail investment platform, as part of a €1.2 billion secondary transaction valuing the company at €12.5 billion. The secondary round was led by existing investors, including Founders Fund, Sequoia, Accel, TCV, and Thrive Capital, and involved the acquisition of shares from early shareholders. Wellington joined the transaction alongside GIC, Fidelity, Khosla Ventures, Lingotto Innovation, and Aglaé.
