Sidley Introduces the Professional Pathways Signing Bonus for 2027 2L Summer Associates

Sidley is pleased to introduce a US$25,000 Professional Pathways Signing Bonus for eligible students who accept an offer to join the firm’s 2027 2L Summer Associate Program.

At Sidley, we believe that early professional experiences play a critical role in shaping the lawyers our summer associates become. This signing bonus is intended for students who commit to joining Sidley for their 2L summer and choose to spend their 1L summer pursuing qualifying public service opportunities.

By investing in future summer associates at an early stage, Sidley reinforces its longstanding commitment to public service, professional exploration, and the development of thoughtful, well-rounded lawyers — while supporting experiences that deepen students’ understanding of the legal profession and the perspectives they bring to their careers.

Eligibility and program details may vary by office. Sidley’s Texas offices will follow a different recruiting model.
