Joseph P. Camano

JOSEPH CAMANO represents a variety of clients in corporate transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate governance, and private equity transactions.

While at Sidley, Joseph completed a secondment at Apollo Enterprise Strategies, a subsidiary of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (NYSE: APO), a leading alternative asset management firm. He advised Apollo and certain of its origination platforms in connection with complex corporate matters.

While attending the University of Virginia School of Law, Joseph served as an editorial board member for the Virginia Tax Review.

• A substantial institutional investor in Convex Group Limited (“Convex”) in Convex’s US$7 billion sale to Onex Corporation and American International Group, Inc.
• A major investor in a US$650 million round of funding for Chobani.
• Geotab, a global leader in connected vehicle and asset management solutions, in its acquisition of the commercial operations of Verizon Connect’s telematics business in Australia, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, France, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, and Germany.
