Biography

ESTELLE GEORGES-NASON focuses her practice on complex commercial, employment, and antitrust litigation matters, with experience representing financial institutions, hedge funds, corporations, and individuals.

Estelle earned her J.D. from the Fordham University School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She also served as a staff member of the Fordham Urban Law Journal and as the professional development chair of the Black Law Student Association. During her tenure, Estelle received the “Chapter Leader of the Year” award from the Northeastern Black Law Students Association (NEBLSA).

Before law school, she worked for an international consulting firm.

Estelle is fluent in French, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.

Experience

Representative Matters

  • Defense of a major payment card issuer in consolidated antitrust actions brought by putative class of all U.S. merchants, as well as significant opt-out actions by large merchant plaintiffs (In re Payment Card Interchange Fee and Merchant Discount Antitrust Litigation (E.D.N.Y.)).
  • Representation of a C-suite executive in connection with a DOJ antitrust investigation in the fragrance industry.
  • Defense of multinational financial services company in pre-action discovery suit.
  • Defense of hedge fund in federal litigation against breach of contract and other related claims.
