Biography

JESSICA MARTINEZ earned her J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and a B.A. and B.S. from the University of Florida. While attending law school, she served as an editor for the Journal of Science & Technology Law and participated in the BU/MIT Student Innovations Law Clinic in both the privacy and intellectual property practice groups. Jessica also served as president of Boston University School of Law’s Student Government Association and was a legal writing fellow for the 1L writing class. She was awarded the Sylvia Beinecke Robinson Award at graduation, an award granted to the students who made a significant contribution to the life of the School of Law.

Prior to joining Sidley, Jessica served as a legal intern for Lawyers for Civil Rights. She also completed an externship for Judge Leo T. Sorokin of the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts and served as a legal compliance intern for Boston University’s Department of Athletics.
