
Biography
MICHAEL MARTINEZ focuses his practice on resolving complex business disputes across a range of industries and supporting clients in all stages of litigation.
Michael earned his B.A. from UCLA and his J.D. from Cornell Law School. During law school, Michael served as a teaching assistant for Cornell Law School’s legal research and writing program and as senior online editor of the Cornell Law Review. He was awarded the Esther and Irving Rosenbloom Prize for excellence in law and finance.
Prior to joining Sidley, Michael participated in Sidley’s Pro Bono Fellowship Program with Public Counsel’s Immigrants’ Rights Project, where he assisted in the representation of individuals seeking immigration relief.
