Biography

KAITLYN POTTER represents individuals and corporate clients located in the United States and abroad in investigations and enforcement actions by the U.S. Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the World Bank’s Integrity Vice Presidency, and other law enforcement authorities. Kaitlyn also conducts internal investigations into allegations of misconduct.

Kaitlyn also has an anti-corruption compliance counseling practice, in which she advises clients regarding anti-corruption risks associated with mergers and acquisitions and counsels companies on the design, implementation, and ongoing assessment of anti-corruption compliance programs.

Prior to joining Sidley, Kaitlyn served as a law clerk to the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin, District Judge for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Kaitlyn earned her law degree, summa cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served as a manuscript editor for the University of Richmond Law Review. Kaitlyn received a B.A. in biology from the University of Virginia.
