Alissa H. Rowens

ALISSA ROWENS focuses her practice on a wide range of financial instruments, including securitized financings, mortgage and mezzanine loans, construction loans, and revolving credit facilities. Her work includes financing of luxury hotels, office buildings, resorts, data centers, self-storage facilities, multifamily, industrial properties, and mixed-use developments located in key markets and major cities across the United States and internationally.

While attending Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Alissa was named to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor of the Cardozo Law Review.

Prior to her time at Sidley, Alissa committed to pro bono legal services by representing New Yorkers in public housing cases, in appeals for the denial of parole for incarcerated individuals, and in transgender legal name-change cases. She also provided significant contributions to the Lawyers for Good Government Reproductive Rights Project.
