
Biography
ANGELA TING focuses her practice on investor-state arbitration and international commercial arbitration, representing commercial and sovereign parties in complex cross-border disputes across various industries.
Before joining the firm, Angela served as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Charles N. Brower, a prominent international arbitrator, supporting various investment and commercial arbitration proceedings. She also worked at the international arbitration practice group of an international law firm in Paris, France. Additionally, she worked at the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID), and at the Integrity Vice Presidency, the World Bank’s anti-corruption division.
Angela earned her law degree with specialization in international legal affairs from Cornell Law School, where she served as managing editor of the Cornell International Law Journal, and associate of the Legal Information Institute’s Supreme Court Bulletin.

- Representing investors in an annulment proceeding related to a claim brought under bilateral investment treaties in connection with investments in the banking, construction, and real estate industries.
- Represented Antigua and Barbuda before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), in an advisory proceeding concerning climate change and its impacts.
- Defended a South American government against a claim brought under a concession contract in connection with investments in the construction industry.
- Represented the African Union before the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), in an advisory proceeding concerning climate change and its effects on the marine environment.
- Represented investors in a claim brought under a free trade agreement in connection with investments in the oil and gas industry.
- Defended a South American government against a claim brought under a bilateral investment treaty in connection with investments in the transportation and construction industries.
- Defended a South American government against a claim brought under a free trade agreement in connection with investments in the energy sector.
- Defended a South American government against a claim brought under a bilateral investment treaty in connection with investments in the mining industry.

Pro Bono
Angela maintains an active pro bono practice. Her work includes representing clients in matters relating to disability rights, voting rights, and climate change advocacy.
In law school, Angela was a student attorney at the Asylum and Convention Against Torture Appellate Clinic, where she represented her client in an appellate proceeding before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
