Stephanie Yang

STEPHANIE YANG focuses her practice on corporate and securities law matters, including capital markets transactions, securities filings, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity transactions.

Prior to joining Sidley, Stephanie worked as a law clerk at a global law firm in Seoul, Korea.

Stephanie earned her J.D. from Cornell Law School, where she served as a publishing editor of the Cornell Law Review. During law school, she was a member of the Gender Justice Clinic and Tenants Advocacy Practicum and served as a legal research assistant.

Stephanie received her B.A., summa cum laude, in Legal Studies and Psychology from Northwestern University and a minor in International Studies.

Stephanie is fluent in Korean.

• The underwriters in connection with a US$2.05 billion, Series A, Medium-Term Notes offering by American Honda Finance Corporation. The offering consisted of four tranches: (i) US$650 million 4.550% Notes due 2028, (ii) US$400 million Floating Rate Notes due 2028, (iii) US$500 million 4.800% Notes due 2030, and (iv) US$500 million 5.200% Notes due 2035.
• Planet Financial Group, LLC (Planet) in connection with a high-yield Rule 144A offering of US$475.0 million aggregate principal amount of 10.50% Senior Notes due 2029.
