Sidley Wins Finance “Litigation Department of the Year” and Earns Multiple Honors at the Texas Legal Awards 2026

Sidley earned “Litigation Department of the Year” honors in the Finance category at the Texas Legal Awards 2026, presented by Texas Lawyer. This marks the third consecutive year the firm has received the Finance “Litigation Department of the Year” honor. The firm was also named a finalist for “Law Firm of the Year” and “Litigation Department of the Year” in the Class Action category. In addition, the following Sidley lawyers were recognized as finalists:
- Michael Hatcher – Intellectual Property Attorney of the Year
- Yvette Ostolaza – Influential Woman of the Year
- S. Scott Parel – Dealmaker of the Year
- Angela Zambrano and S. Scott Parel – Managing Partners of the Year
- Robert Velevis – Pro Bono Attorney of the Year
- Natali Wyson – Attorney of the Year
- Angela Zambrano – Best Mentor
Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Dallas on September 30, 2026.
