Biography

DR. TOBIAS BACHMEIER advises on all aspects of German business and corporate law, with a particular focus on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate matters. His clients include national and international private equity funds, asset managers, and strategic investors.

Prior to joining Sidley in 2022, Tobias worked in the banking and finance practice of a German-Luxembourgish law firm. During his studies and legal clerkship, he received legal training in Germany, Belgium, Scotland, and Italy.
