Biography

HYE LEE focuses her practice on debt financing transactions, advising lenders and borrowers in a broad range of transactions. 

Hye represents commercial banks, alternative lenders, public and private borrowers, and private equity sponsors in a wide variety of transactions, including secured and unsecured debt financing with focus on cash flow and asset-based lending transactions, syndicated financings, direct lender financings, acquisition financings, and structured financings. 

Hye earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School and holds a B.A. in economics from Seoul National University where she graduated summa cum laude.

Experience

Representative Matters

  • A subsidiary of a fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management, as borrower in a new revolving and term loan credit facility, with Mizuho Bank as the administrative and collateral agent, in the acquisition financing of a 40% equity stake in select U.S. Gulf Coast infrastructure assets from Dow Inc., with an option to increase the term loan if the borrower opts to increase its equity stake to 49% within six months after closing.
  • The Energy & Minerals Group—US$465 million term loan “B” credit facility and a US$50 million superpriority revolving credit facility entered into in connection with the closing of a US$1.1 billion continuation vehicle that included EMG’s investments in core midstream infrastructure assets.
