ABIGAIL MOLITOR is a senior managing associate in the Litigation group of the firm’s Chicago office. Her practice focuses on a range of complex litigation and regulatory proceedings, including securities litigation and matters involving accountants and professional liability issues. Her practice further includes substantial appellate brief-writing in both state and federal court. She has experience in all phases of litigation, including developing case strategy, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, drafting dispositive motions and other briefs, and pursuing and defending appeals.
Abbey earned her law degree with honors from The University of Chicago Law School, where she was a Rubenstein Scholar. While in law school, she served as Executive Topics & Comments Editor for The University of Chicago Law Review. She received her B.A. in history and political science from the University of Iowa, where she graduated with highest honors.
Prior to joining the firm, Abbey served as a law clerk for the Honorable Steven M. Colloton of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
