NATHAN TRUONG focuses his practice on regulatory and transactional matters for entities involved in financial services and payment systems, including fintech companies, payment processors, money transmitters, cryptocurrency companies, technology providers, and retailers.
Prior to joining Sidley, Nathan practiced at an international law firm where he represented companies in technology transactions, commercial arrangements, and the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
While attending Harvard Law School, Nathan served as co-president of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association and as a member of the Board of Student Advisers. He also externed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Prior to law school, Nathan was a high school physics teacher.
