Sidley represented Prospect Partners and its portfolio company, Wedgewood Hospitality Group, Inc., in TJC, L.P.’s acquisition of Wedgewood. Wedgewood is a full-service provider of wedding services in the U.S., operating over 75 venues across eight states. Wedgewood is a second generation family business that was founded in 1986 by John Zaruka and is led by Bill Zaruka as CEO. The Zarukas partnered with Prospect Partners in 2014 to scale up its platform and offerings to clients. Sidley represented Prospect Partners in the 2014 transaction and has served as counsel to Wedgewood since that transaction.
