Biography

SARAH SCHEINMAN advises clients on antitrust, competition, and regulatory matters drawing on her experience as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) Antitrust Division and as Associate Deputy General Counsel at the Office of Management and Budget. Sarah’s work includes representing clients in merger and non-merger investigations and litigation brought by the DOJ, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and other federal and state agencies. Sarah brings a holistic perspective to her antitrust and competition work to better deliver for clients, using lessons learned from leading government investigations, managing congressional oversight, and developing regulations and executive action.

Sarah’s industry experience spans broad sectors including communications, consumer goods, entertainment, healthcare, life sciences, and technology.

Sarah’s prior positions include serving as Deputy Associate Counsel in the White House where she led teams vetting candidates for Senate-confirmed positions. Sarah was an associate at a major international law firm where she focused on antitrust and competition advisory work, including representing clients in matters before the DOJ, the FTC, and other state and federal agencies.

Sarah served as a law clerk to The Honorable Vincent L. Briccetti, on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Sarah received her law degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was an executive editor for the Michigan Law Review.

Membership & Activities

Sarah is an active member of the American Bar Association section of Antitrust Law, and currently serves as an associate editor on the Media & Technology Committee.
