Sidley partner Justin Savage will serve as a panelist during the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show hosted November 5-8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The SEMA show is the premier trade show in the US$400+ billion automotive aftermarket industry and features 2,400 exhibitors from a range of companies in the industry, including manufacturers and suppliers of automotive accessories, major automakers, leading aftermarket manufacturers, private equity investors, and banks.
The panel, titled “Creating and Implementing an Effective Compliance Program to Manage EPA and CARB Risks,” will discuss the latest regulatory and enforcement developments that shed light on the compliance expectations for emissions in the aftermarket. The presenters will also offer steps that can be taken to manage those risks. Justin will be joined by moderator David Goch, Outside General Counsel at SEMA, and panelists David Garrett, President and Principal of Garrett & Associates, Inc.; and Peter Treydte, Director of Emissions Compliance at SEMA.
