Sidley Lawyer Ken Irvin to Moderate Panel at the Nodal Trader Conference 2025

Ken Irvin, partner and co-lead of Sidley’s global Energy and Infrastructure practice, will moderate a panel at the Nodal Trader Conference in Washington, D.C., on October 23, 2025. He will lead the discussion during the “Growing Power Demand and Nodal Trading” panel at 11:30 a.m. ET.

The panel will explore today’s energy landscape, including the unprecedented rise in data centers and power demand, the urgent need for new generation, and reliability challenges stemming from intermittent resources and rapid demand growth. Panelists will discuss the uncertainty over the delayed or incomplete projects and evaluate how incentives, such as nuclear energy, can drive the development of new generation.
