Sidley Adds Mayan Katz to Emerging Companies and Venture Capital and Global Life Sciences Practices in New York

New York – Sidley is pleased to announce that Mayan Katz has joined Sidley’s office in New York as a partner in the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital and Global Life Sciences practices. He joins from Goodwin Procter LLP, where he was a Corporate partner in the Life Sciences group and a leader in the firm’s Israel practice.

Mr. Katz focuses on domestic and cross-border M&A, strategic transactions, venture capital financings, and other corporate matters for companies and investors across the life sciences sector, including the pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, and digital health industries. He advises clients throughout the corporate lifecycle, representing both buyers and sellers on a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, including structured transactions, divestitures, spin-outs, and joint ventures. Mr. Katz also counsels clients on startup and formation matters, venture capital financings, general corporate matters, and other strategic and complex transactions. In addition, he also has significant experience advising Israeli and Israeli-founded companies and investors on U.S. and cross-border transactions.
