Sidley Named “High Yield Team of the Year”

International Financial Law Review (IFLR) has named Sidley “High Yield Team of the Year” at the IFLR Asia-Pacific Awards 2023. The annual awards recognize the most substantial matters of the previous year, highlighting “legal innovation and ingenuity in the region’s cross-border market.” The achievement highlights Sidley’s position as one of Asia’s leading capital markets practices.

Additionally, IFLR has declared the Guangzhou R&F Properties exchange offer to be the “High Yield Deal of the Year.” Sidley advised Guangzhou R&F Properties Co., Ltd. on the restructuring of its 10 series of U.S. dollar-denominated notes with an aggregate outstanding principal amount of approximately US$4.9 billion. This transaction is one of the largest successful restructuring of public real estate debts in Asia in recent years.
