Matthew C. Thompson, co-leader of the Entertainment, Sports and Media group firmwide, has been named to The Hollywood Reporter’s 2025 “Power Lawyers: Creators” list.
The Hollywood Reporter recognized Matt for his standout work advising on major deals for Alex Cooper, including a multi-year Google partnership and the launch of her Unwell Hydration beverage line with Nestlé. Matt was also commended for his representation of Hollywood icon Dwayne Johnson in the launch of Teremana Tequila and the Papatui men’s grooming brand.
Matt advises entertainment companies and investors on complex mergers, acquisitions, and financing transactions, along with a range of general corporate matters. He also counsels content creators and their related entities on a broad spectrum of industry-specific commercial deals.
