May 5, 2026
A matter on which Sidley advised was honored with a top award at D CEO’s Mergers & Acquisitions Awards 2026. New Mountain Capital’s investment in Access Healthcare, on which Sidley advised Access Healthcare, won “Deal of the Year” in the US$1 Billion+ category. The deal involved one of the largest U.S. private equity investments in an Indian-domiciled healthcare technology company and was reported by Bloomberg as the largest M&A transaction in India in the first half of 2025. The transaction highlights the continued growth and global integration of India’s healthcare IT sector, as well as strong international demand for tech-enabled business process and revenue cycle management platforms serving U.S. healthcare clients from India and other offshore locations. Sidley’s cross-border deal team was led by partners S. Scott Parel, Aaron J. Rigby, and Parthiv Rishi, who guided the transaction through complex international and sector-specific considerations.
