Sidley Represents Iconic Restaurant Group Benihana in Its US$365 Million Acquisition by The ONE Group Hospitality

Sidley is representing Safflower Holdings Corp., the owner of Benihana Inc., in its US$365 million acquisition by The ONE Group Hospitality, Inc. (Nasdaq: STKS). Safflower also owns other popular restaurant brands such as RA Sushi, and the deal will expand The One Group Hospitality’s footprint to 168 venues.
The Sidley deal team is being led by David D’Urso (M&A and Private Equity), and includes Vadim M. Brusser and Jerilynne Ming (Antitrust and Competition).
