Sidley Represents Castle Creek Capital in Tri-County Financial Group’s US$204.6 Million Merger with HBT Financial

Sidley is representing affiliates of Castle Creek Capital, the largest shareholder of Tri-County Financial Group, Inc. (OTC: TYFG), in connection with Tri-County’s announced merger with HBT Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: HBT) in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately US$204.6 million. The combination is expected to strengthen HBT Financial’s presence in central Illinois and the Chicago metropolitan area and to broaden offerings for customers of First State Bank, Tri-County’s banking subsidiary.
