Sidley Represents Driftwood Capital and MV Real Estate Holdings in the Development of Riverside Wharf in Miami, FL

Sidley represented a partnership between Driftwood Capital and MV Real Estate Holdings in their US$145 million secured construction loan from Centennial Bank for the development of the Riverside Wharf hospitality and entertainment complex on the Miami River.

The financing supports the construction and development of the nine-story, two-tower development which will feature a 167-room Dream-branded luxury hotel, a 30,000-square-foot nightclub, a rooftop pool day club, a 12,000-square-foot event hall, and 16,000 square feet of signature restaurant space. The development is also expected to include the rebirth and expansion of The Wharf Miami, a publicly accessible riverwalk, a seawall, and a pop-up fish market which honors the neighborhood’s fishing heritage. The project is expected to be completed in late 2028.

Driftwood Capital is a private real estate investment, development, and asset management firm specializing in hospitality properties, while MV Real Estate Holdings is a private real estate investment and development firm specializing in the acquisition, development, repositioning, and management of residential and commercial real estate. Both companies are Miami-based.
