
Biography
KELLY KATHERINE BALL represents public and private companies across industries in corporate and transactional matters, including public and private acquisitions, divestitures, investments, and other general corporate matters.
Kelly Katherine earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, graduating with honors. She was awarded pro bono honors in recognition of her commitment to pro bono service. Additionally, Kelly Katherine received the “Dean’s Achievement Award” twice, earning the designation of “Outstanding Student” in negotiation and cyberspace courses.
During law school, Kelly Katherine worked as a research assistant to Professor Angela Littwin, analyzing the impact of domestic violence on consumer credit and the attitudes toward bankruptcy among consumers being sued by debt collectors. She also served as staff editor of the Texas Review of Law and Politics and director of the Christian Legal Society.
Prior to law school, Kelly Katherine worked as an English as a second language teacher in Pachuca, Mexico, after graduating, cum laude, from Wheaton College, with a B.A. in Spanish and a minor in psychology.

- Merit Street Media, Inc., a Texas-based television and digital media company, in its Chapter 11 filing in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, and in the successful negotiation of US$21.4 million in debtor-in-possession financing.
