Biography
CELIA CALANO BOLOGNA advises banks, broker-dealers, and other financial services companies on consumer protection issues and banking laws. She also defends clients in enforcement investigations and supervisory examinations by federal and state consumer protection agencies and banking authorities.
Prior to joining Sidley, Celia was an associate at another global law firm. She was also a legal extern for The Honorable Louise Flanagan of the United States District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina.
While attending Georgetown University Law Center, Celia served as an executive articles editor of the Georgetown Law Journal and was honored in 2020 with the “International Academy of Trial Lawyers Student Advocacy Award” for her work as a student attorney in the Communications and Technology Law Clinic.
