Raphael Chow

RAPHAEL CHOW advises clients on a variety of cross-border debt finance transactions, including private equity sponsors, funds, corporations, and financial institutions.

Raphael was trained at a magic circle firm in Hong Kong and London, where he gained experience in investment-grade lending, structured and securitised finance, mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets. Before joining Sidley, Raphael spent time with another U.S. headquartered law firm in London.

Raphael is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Recent examples of Raphael’s work include advising:

• Advised Partners Group a leading global private markets firm, on the financing arrangements for its acquisition of premium pet food company MPM Products, a global pet food business focused on premium cat food.
• ADVANZ PHARMA, a Nordic Capital portfolio company, in connection with the issuance of €917 million (equivalent) in new euro- and pound sterling-denominated senior secured notes and the borrowing of a €165 million term loan B facility.
