
Biography
SARAH GALLO focuses her practice on representing companies in class actions, white collar criminal and internal investigations, and other complex litigation matters. She has experience representing clients before a variety of regulatory and law enforcement agencies, including the Department of Justice (DOJ), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as in state and federal trial and appellate courts. Sarah has successfully represented clients from a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, technology, and social media.
Prior to joining Sidley, Sarah was a law clerk on the Complex and Affirmative Litigation team for the Office of the San Francisco City Attorney, supporting cases brought against the Department of Homeland Security on behalf of San Franciscans.

Sarah graduated from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, where she served as publishing editor of the California Law Review and executive editor of Ecology Law Quarterly. In 2014, she graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Washington University in St. Louis, with a B.A. in anthropology and public health, summa cum laude.
At Sidley, Sarah serves as the San Francisco associate leader for SidleyWomen.
