ASHLANDE GELIN focuses her practice on U.S. trade remedies and compliance with trade enforcement actions.
Prior to joining Sidley, Ashlande served as an attorney at the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Office of Chief Counsel for Trade Enforcement and Compliance and as an attorney for the United States Trade Representative, Trade Remedies & Enforcement Division.
While at Commerce, she drafted numerous trial court and appellate briefs defending complex trade remedies matters before the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Additionally, she advised the Office of Enforcement and Compliance in its investigation and review of anti-dumping and countervailing duty proceedings, as well as the U.S. Foreign Trade Zones Board on various legal issues.
