
Biography
ETHAN JOHNSON focuses his practice on private investment funds. Ethan graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as executive notes editor of the Journal of Legislation and vice president of the Business Law Forum. He received his B.S. in molecular biology from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
While in law school, Ethan was a judicial extern to The Hon. Michael G. Gotsch, Sr. at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and worked in Notre Dame’s Office of General Counsel. Prior to joining Sidley, he was a Public Interest Law Initiative Fellow at CARPLS, Cook County’s largest provider of free legal services, where he now serves on the Professionals Board.
