Karena B. Kong

KARENA KONG focuses her practice on intellectual property and commercial transactions in the life sciences sector. She leverages her educational background in pharmacology and drug development to help advise and assist in client transactions. Prior to joining Sidley, Karena interned at a biotechnology company where she gained invaluable insight into the intricacies of the life sciences sector.

Karena received her J.D. from the New York University School of Law where she served as staff editor for Volume 12 of the NYU Journal of Intellectual Property & Entertainment Law. Before attending law school, Karena earned her B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California.
