Claire Rice

CLAIRE RICE focuses her practice on commercial litigation and disputes.

Prior to joining Sidley, Claire served as a law clerk for the Honorable John Z. Lee of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and the Honorable Georgia N. Alexakis of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. 

Claire graduated with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she served as an online editor of The University of Chicago Law Review. During law school, Claire was also a student clinician in the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic and a judicial extern on the Northern District of Illinois. Before law school, she worked as a health care consultant.

Claire earned her B.A. in public health and Spanish, magna cum laude, from Vanderbilt University.
