Biography

JULIA STEINER focuses her practice on commercial litigation.

Julia earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and Order of the Coif. In 2023, Julia received the Bruce J. Winick Award for Academic Excellence, a full academic scholarship for students in the top 1% of their class at the end of each year.

During law school, Julia served as an articles and comments editor for the University of Miami Law Review, where she published her student note and co-authored an article with a nationally recognized litigator at another global law firm. Julia also interned for the Children & Youth Law Clinic, where she received the Markus Award in 2025, which recognizes one student each year for outstanding clinical work.

Prior to joining Sidley, Julia interned with a federal district court judge.
